Frame Explorer Crashes on Right click

After opening Frame Explorer/Remo Desktop from Launch Pad, if I right click inside a folder or drive, the Frame Explorer crashes. But, if I Open through Sandbox, there is no problem.
What is the solution

  • Update: This happens only when we click on empty space in folder, but when we click on a file or folder it doesn't crashes. Use case is for creating a new folder in a location.

  • Hi mainakpal,

This is a rare circumstance which can effect some alternate file browsers, and has to do with OneDrive. This is usually resolved by either setting Frame Explorer to "Run as administrator" in the Compatibility section of file properties, or by uninstalling OneDrive.

    To set "Run as administrator":
    1. Navigate to the Frame Explorer file location
    2. Right-click and select "Properties"
    3. Go to the "Compatibility" tab and check the "Run this program as an administrator" checkbox.
    4. Click "Change settings for all users" and check the "Run this program as an administrator" checkbox here as well.
    5. Click Apply, then click OK on both windows.
    6. Publish the changes made to your production instances (if applicable.)

To uninstall OneDrive, simply use the "Programs and Features" applet in Control Panel.

    Thanks,
    -John
